Saucy Boho Cowl

Hi Friends,

Do you have a  cowl for each season ? Cowls & Infinity scarves are  hot items these days :) I have been on a scarf & cowl binge for a while now. I feel they  are great for accenting  shirts & jackets. I  like the cowl to fill the gap from the neckline to my neck, if the shirt  or top is a rounded neck.

I picked up a ball of  Red Heart Sashay Boho ,colour Saucy :) from Stitch-It Central and decided to try a Saucy Boho Cowl from it  :)

Saucy Boho Cowl

So my Saucy Boho Cowl pattern came to me ,when I was laying in bed this morning :) I love to make up a patterns on the spur of the moment :)

I used a 10mm Knit Picks circular ,as I do everything on circulars 😉 I cast on 6 stitches and knit a few rows. I then did a triple wrap around along the next row.

I just made the size and length of the Saucy Boho Cowl as I went :) It was a quick knit :)

Once I had the length I cast off . I gave the one end a twist and sewed the ends together. The cowl just sits nicer with the twist in it :)

Voila my Saucy Boho Cowl turned up great. I love the little sequins in the yarn. I also love the pink ,orange and gold in the yarn ,together

I think these colours feel like  summer clicking-your-heels-smiley-emoticon

I tried a regular Sashay yarn in royal blue and it turned out great also :) If you would like a Cowl from any type of scarf yarn please leave a comment or e mail wendy@smilesnpurls.com
